Get Recent Commentsのエラー

WordPress 2.3にする際に、Get Recent Commentsを2.0.2にしたところ、以下のエラーが表示されるようになった。
Warning: preg_replace() [function.preg-replace]: No ending delimiter ‘:’ found in /xxxxxx/xxxxxx/xxxxxx/blog.macfeeling.com/wp-includes/formatting.php on line 668
formatting.phpの該当箇所を見たところ、function convert_smiliesのところでエラーが出ているらしい。
で、Get Recent Commentの設定のMiscタブ内のSmileysでThe plugin should:をdo it like WordPress.からnever convert emoticons to graphics (even if WordPress does it elsewhere).に変更したところ、エラーが表示されなくなった模様。
