REAL Software社はMacworld Expoにて「REALbasic 2008 Release 1」を2月にリリースすることを発表しました。
目玉はイントロスペクションのサポートだそうです。

オブジェクトとして自身に関する情報（そのクラスとスーパークラス、応答できるメッセージ、準拠するプロトコルなど）を明らかにできるオブジェクトの能力
